Steam Fitter

Layout, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and industrial production and processing systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of transporting high-pressure gas.

Pipe Fitter

Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.  Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of installation of automatic controls that regulate the pipe systems.

Journeyman

Installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.  Troubleshooting HVAC and assistant to the Steam and/or Pipe Fitters.

Welder

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers an measuring tool.  Work with products according to customer/employer specifications.
